03 2024 betPARX Pennsylvania Derby - Cotillion Day
SEP. 12, 2024

LOCATION: Parx Racing
WINNERS:  Seize the Grey - PA Derby
          Thorpedo Anna - Cotillion
The filly in the Travers has now arrived in Philadelphia. Thorpedo Anna’s remarkable summer campaign captured the attention of racing fans worldwide. From Louisville to Saratoga, she effortlessly defeated every other filly before stepping up to challenge one of the most prestigious races in the 3-year-old division. Though she lost that epic battle to champion Fierceness by a nose, she won the hearts of countless fans.

Tens of thousands gathered at Parx for her and she didn’t disappoint. An effortless victory paved her trip to San Diego. However another horse decided to steal the show: a summer of tough luck couldn’t stop Seize the Grey to come back strong and take PA Derby in powerful gate to wire fashion, leaving his owners in shock and ecstasy.

For both of them, Del Mar will be the next stop.
