During the pursuit of Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and International Relations at Lehigh University, Yang served as a sports beat reporter and photographer for The Brown and White, covering Mountain Hawks home games across multiple sports. Additionally, during his internship in the Lehigh Athletics multimedia office, Yang contributed to the coverage of Lehigh’s home games on ESPN+ as a camera operator.

Outside Lehigh campus, Yang’s deep passion for horse racing has led him to visit numerous racetracks across the United States and internationally. As an aspiring media professional, he developed a habit of documenting his experiences through photos at each track. This passion ultimately earned him an internship with The New York Racing Association, where he joined the crew to provide television coverage of the Saratoga summer racing series on Fox Sports.

02 LE-LAF Rivalry Game Pre & Post Game
NOV. 23, 2024

LOCATION: Murray H. Goodman Stadium
SCORE:    Lehigh 38-14 Lafayette
The late-fall chilly breeze in Bethlehem tried its best to keep the audiences away, but for students from both schools and local lehigh valley residents, this was their bowl game.  The Brown and White fans couldn't wait to see their team crowned at home, while the Red and Whites arrived with hope, this season was tough, but they were the defending champs who won here last year.

Lehigh's players knew the pressure and handled it with poise, while the students went a bit too far. Athletics department weren’t too happy seeing several overhyped kids - it took them 15 minutes - climbed up the post, egged on by chants from the raucous crowd, to finally take that thing down. Hundreds of lehigh students then carried the post 4 miles before dunking it into lehigh river.

FCS Playoffs. Time to move on.
